Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form we collect your name and email, and optionally your company, phone number, and details about your enquiry (service of interest, budget, timeline, and your message). If you apply for a role, we collect the information in your application and CV/profile.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we collect limited analytics: the pages you view, the referring page, and general technical details such as device type, browser, operating system, and approximate country. This is collected using cookies only after you accept them — see our Cookie Policy.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you ask about.
• To assess and manage job applications.
• To understand and improve how our website is used (with your consent).
• To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

How your information is handled and shared

We do not sell your personal information. Contact-form enquiries are sent to us by email and are not stored in a separate database. Job applications are stored securely so we can process them. We use trusted service providers to operate the site, who process data on our behalf:

• Vercel — website hosting.
• Supabase — database (job applications and site content).
• IONOS — email delivery for enquiries and notifications.
• Google Analytics — website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.

Some of these providers may process data outside New Zealand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to access the personal information we hold about you and request corrections. To make a request, email info@spancorp.net.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Children

Our website and services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
